Looks like a great act. I have been under the impression that Barbary and Nubian were basically , if not actually, the same.

Barbary lion also know as Nubian and last but not least Atlas Lion. All the same. But then lots of circus characters have or had aka's.

The Atlas lion (from North Africa's Atlas mountains) is now extinct in the wild. It is said to be still represented by a few in private collections in the region. Many of the Atlas animals are now gone or endangered. - - - -the Barbary macaque, the Atlas bear (Africa's only native bear; now extinct), the Barbary leopard, the Barbary stag, Barbary sheep, the Barbary lion (extinct in the wild), the Atlas Mountain badger, the North African elephant (extinct), the North African aurochs (extinct), Cuvier's gazelle, the Northern bald ibis, dippers, the Atlas mountain viper, the Atlas cedar, the European black pine, and the Algerian oak.
