It looks like she has the diamondback right behind the head. Some of the snake charmers in India defang their cobras but the snake usually dies from infection. Other charmers will sew the mouth shut so the snake can't bite.

Hunters have tried to de-fang rattlers for snake-proofing their field dogs. They hold the snake like this gal is doing, then snip the fangs off close with wire cutters. When they let their dogs approach the snake in the field, they shock them severely with re-mote controlled charges through the dog's collar. What these idiots don't know is that nature has equipped rattlers with a 2nd set of reserve fangs, which rest up in the roof of their mouths, in case any damage comes to the primary set. Tell yourself your snake is de-fanged--and the gun you pick up is unloaded--and pay the price.
