This poster was used for sure in 1941. I recall seeing it in a storefront window in Nashville in August in advance of the show.

This litho is an adaptation of a Sells Floto photo (likely by Atwell)from about 1930. It shows the male Tambon with two children aboard. The kids, at least the girl, was said to be a well known circus personality - - Hanneford?

Tambon (a blended word for Tammen and Bonfils, S-F owners)) was a very gentle animal for a male. He had been hand raised on SF from infancy by humans and was deeply imprinted.
