When the Bonnie and Clyde movie came out Bill Siros of Houston had one of these cars out. He told me he knew all the holes but one were bullet holes as he had fired them himself.

After he had the car on display he discovered a photo showing another bullet hole and that one was drilled.

I once met one of the quys who had shot Bonnie and Clyde in ambush. Ted Hinton.

Some years ago, a vintage auto event was held in Southern California that featured a number of antique cars that traveling as a group from city to city under their own power. The cars came through San Diego, stopping off at the Seaport Village shopping complex. Among the cars that participated in this event was the “Bonnie and Clyde” car, complete with bullet holes.

As I may have noted previously, I've seen half a dozen B&C "death cars", and likely so have you guys. My dad and an uncle drove up before the gunsmoke blew away, accompanied by entire populations of Louisiana, Arkansas, and East Texas. They were all right there either for the shooting, or the retrieval of the bodies. Every one of them took turns sitting in the car, and each got a snippet of Bonnie's hair, and one of Clyde's shoes. Those I met were telling me the truth, too.
