If my notes are correct, this shot was accomplished in Big Tujunga Canyon, California. Trick shots were common, but some directors demanded the real thing. Out here, we have immense variances of nature that provide a location scout's dream. As far as jungle stories, whenever we have a rickety old rope bridge a thousand feet above the river, or a single strand like Grant's here, even as a boy I was asking which poor native strung the rigging.
