Hello,
Here are a few pages from my Orton scrap book. I did it chronologically starting with Hiram Orton in 1853 as far as I could get photos and info to present day. It makes it nice to see visually the Orton Circus history from the beginning.

Sure hope you fill in the blanks under the pictures with info and Hero's deaths what circus and what happened????

I always look also for information on Myron Orton, later clown and Gordon Orton, horse trainer with Ringling. Actually, they were both there. Both very nice guys. Myron taught me how to drive in 1946 and I got my first drivers licence here in Sarasota, Fl. Jackie LeClaire

Just wonderful history of one of the significent circus families of the American Circus. Thank goodness there is so much info out there in regard to the Ortans thru the years. Myron and Gordon Ortan both prominent among others. johnny
