The Clown obviously has something other then just Big Feet...Uh, to garner that much interest...

Either this is a posed shot Jim

(very likely) or the fellow had

some sought after attributes

The rules plainly state:
No sitting, smoking, eating, drinking or playing grab-ass in show wardrobe!

The girl on the right seems to be

reaching down for something in

his back pocket (or whatever)

Those rules are followed just as

well on most of the Broadway shows

Doesn't that rascal looks like Jackie Le Claire?

While on this subject, Dalilah bought a brand new car yesterday.
She commutes 50 miles round trip each day to the Verizon Office in down town Tampa and was getting more concerned about gas prices.
I was surprised to learn that this car has neither key nor starter switch, just push a button on the dashboard and it cranks up.
She said the activator is inside the little clicker that unlocks the doors and it won't start until it's inside the car.
So I gather no keys of any kind came with the purchase.

I had sent in a comment on this yesterday that evidently went astray/ I think the clown is from the Walthing French Cradle act. Act could often make extra money doing clown bits at this time during the war. It looks like Freddy Walthing to me (spelling). The girl on the left is definatly Lucrisia Darney. Her sister Eileen married Jimmy Ringling. Jackie
