Aug. 13, 1972, Karl performed his first major league baseball "skywalk," traversing Philadelphia Phillies' Veterans Stadium before 32,000-plus spectators between games of a Phila.-Montreal Expos' twin bill. He encored stunt on Memorial Day, May 31, 1976 before 52,211 fans between games of a Phillies-Chicago Cubs twi-night doubleheader. We personally witnessed both stunts, which garnered international media coverage. -- Bill Hall

BILL HALL: From that moment forth I wanted to promote Skywalks in years to come....So during the 90's I able to obtain that goal thanks to Tommy Hanneford and J Cochrane. With the help of J we promoted two successful skywalks in Huntsville,AL / Biloxi, MI in advance of Hanneford Circus Appearance. Thank's to Bill Hall for giving me the motivation...So, when does Bill go into the Ring of Fame?

Hey Bello, Here's a great idea for you at Yankee Stadium or City Field. Could be tougher scheduling these days as there are fewer doubleheaders.

Paul Gutheil: Have worked on a different twist to a baseball stadium (minor league) skywalk for years with no stadiums takers. Don't need a Double Header for the Walk.....Find me a stadium that might be interested...It will take more than a Burger King Trade Out..Also, have a great cannon and skypole idea...Problem is sponsors and getting these stadium MGRS to think outside the box....That's why Bill Hall's idea was so great..Come to Altoona and you will see your first cannon act in the JAFFA...Your pictures are the greatest.....Take Care.
