I am embarassed to say I am not familiar with these folks, but judging from these photos they were cerainly superior performers.
Does anyone know if there is any film/video of their performing?

They were the great high wire act on early Adkins-Terrell Cole Bros. Along with ZoppeZavatta troupe. Both families settled in Rochester, Ind. Willy's son Martin did great hand balancing act in later years and two younger sisters were popular performer circus girls. I can not think of their names. Otto was around for quite sometime. Col., You've answered more questions here than you might think for which my great thanks.
All good wishes to the Herriott Troupe,

Herman Wallenda also did the handstand on the shoulders, but no chair that I remember. Any balancer will tell you it is a tough handstand with that grip plus doing it up high, man!

John is so right. Martin Lamberti was the show name the one son went under. He was an ace balancer and juggler. I imagine he is retired by now.

I worked with Martin lamberti just a couple of years ago. He's doing physical comedy. He was working a lot for cirque productions, and probably still is.
