Seils-Sterling Circus #4

Scan00000010104, originally uploaded by bucklesw1.

"Lucy" and "Billy Sunday" presented by Leo "Tiger Bill" Snyder.

"There are scarcely any pictures in this Route Book so I added a few
from my own collection. This one is undated.

Inspired by a well known circus personality, who after complimenting the Blog added, "I just look at the pictures, I don't bother with the rest of that crap!"

Buckles,
Was it Tusko or Diamond that was once owned by Albert Coble, also Billy Sunday for a short time? I know I have a photo of my dad sitting on the head of a cow named Mena in the 30's who I believe was an anchor for one or the other???
PS: I also have some poor quality photos of Tiger Bills Wild West show as my grandfather was a half breed Indian; braids and all and worked for Snyder. Will send them to you when I get time to dig them out.

I know this is a total shot in the dark...I have been doing some family research on and off forever. I am a relative of the Snyder family. Emmett Snyder (Leo's father) was my Grandmother's uncle. She used to tell amazing stories about the Wild West show and the various performers. Originally, I had hoped to find photos or a poster or something before she died, but that was before the internet was as thick as it is now!
I see your post here, and I wonder if you still have any photos you would be willing to share.
