Sure wish I could identify this one. Looks like Mack second from left.
The herd doesn't match up with any of the shows he trouped with that I'm aware of.

I wonder if this might be your old alma mater the Wallace show right after the Coca-Cola group arrived?

I think you're right.
The four smaller elephants would be the Coke bulls "Marian, "Addie", "Cora" and "Inez".
They joined from the Downie Show in 1940 but according to my files Mac didn't take over until 1941.
For some reason I don't remember him at all despite the fact I can recall a lot of people on the show prior to that.

I didn't want to come off as some upstart telling the recognized authority his business.

Like the time I told C B DeMille how to direct a crowd scene.

Don't ever let me make THAT mistake again!
