I didn't know that Dieter

had any kids in his classes

Now if he only could put the

cycle on a slack wire

All joking aside this kid

really looks terrific

One would never guess from this photo that this little dudes feet would become more talented at scouring Junk-yards then from flippin teacups...

Worth a few minutes of your time.

Looks like a fairly new top

Only wish I could read the stencil

on the panel above the flying cup

I recognize the speaker as a horn

from Atlas Sound (not that old)

Anyone know the name of the European family that appeared with Ringling in the '70s, father, mother, son and daughter. The son caught pie pans that were flung at him by the others and finished with him on the unicycle doing this trick with the cups and saucers. ~frank

This photo was taken around 59 or 60 at Palasades park on the Hunt Bros. Circus. A five ringer at that time. I believe the dude standing behind the ladder and the girl later were on the RBBB; both with Baboon acts.

Thanks Jimmy that sounds right

I'll call Marsha & see if there

O-Henry made Cliff Vargas' first personally ordered tent.
Paul Hudson and Joe Hodgini Sr. put it up in Des Plaines,IL while Chris Hudson, Pat Kirby and myself cheered them on,

Certainly the two all time great kids family acts. The Hall "Wiz kids" and the Joanides "Gold .en Kids". They both did it all including the fabulous cups and saucers. Who was the best? It was a tie. My opinion and I believe that of others who remember.

To Chic;

Well said!

My sentiments exactly.

When you love your work,"it ain't work".

Robert,
It is the man, the myth, the legend. The one and only, never to be found again, James Castle Hall. Or as Jim Z pointed out, other wize known as "the white Fred Sanford."
