These are the tallest howdahs I ever saw.
Looks to be a section added to the frame between the elephant's back and the chair.
No doubt a thrill ride ahead of it's day.

Buckles, can you confirm those howdahs as being either 1918 B&B, or RBBB in the 1920s? They look mlike RBBB in the 1920s style.

The wagon is the former 1903-built B&B Queen's float. It was rebuilt after 1917, seen in original condition in a Ralph Miller photo.

Can someone confirm the location as Rockford, IL?

The riders appear to be gentlemen and little wonder since the howdahs look top heavy and would have plenty of play.
If I had to make an educated guess I'd say RBBB 1920's.
