In 1931, when the Circus was in Philadelphia for a week’s stand, F. Beverly Kelley arranged for Merle Evans and the band to journey to the Victor recording studios in nearby Camden, New Jersey, where they recorded 4 more sides.



Victor record #22474 contained Karl King’s “Pageantry” March on Side A and Russell Alexander’s “Colossus of Columbia” March on Side B.
