A little Evansville trivia...


Happy 14th Retirement Anniversary to The Lenzs, Sue and Rudi.


They spent their last two years of touring with Ringling, then went to Evansville where they officially retired.


Prior to Ringling and his marriage to Sue, Rudi and his brother, Willy did a season with Pollack. In 1966 Sue and Rudi were flown to Los Angeles to appear on Hollywood Palace.

Hi Rudi and Sue,
It seems like yesterday when you two great circus performers were on Ringling and Circus Vargas.
What ever circus they were on they added a touch of class to it.
Rudi was the first that got me introduced to Gunther.
There chimps were like family to them and Rudi would go in there cage and have tea with them.
I hope these two retirees have a great Holiday season.

I met Rudi one time at the Utica Shrine Date. We cut up a few jackpots. A really fine Gentleman!
