Johnny J. Jones Exposition #1

The following lay-out appeared in a 1932 copy of "Circus Magazine" despite the fact that the show no longer carried elephants.

Some of your bloggers may not know that the Johnny J.Jones winterquarters was in Deland, Florida. This is the exact same quarters now used by the Johnny Pugh Cole Bros. Circus. I believe the history says it was originally a Fairgrounds.

Anyone familiar with the Beatty-Cole quarters in DeLand is aware that the elephant barn was built within the structure of the original fairgrounds grandstand.

Hello everyone! I have returned home for the winter.
At the North end of the elephant barn(grandstand), there was a water tank, and pen for BIG OTTO, the hippo.
