Dan Rice Circus 1937 # 6


On the back of the picture is written "elephant truck" and we see the Captains chair in the doorway and his dog reclining on the loading ramp.
This looks like a former horse truck the show had provided, I can imagine a pretty good ruckus the first time that tarp started flapping over their heads.

I have watched my last tarp flap. Every year for twelve years I watch them blow over at least twice. You would think I would have learned sooner. NAW They reminded me too much of the circus. I will be in an arena from now on.
