Ringling-Barnum Circus 1949/ Bear act

The polar bear act in the opening display that my mother and I had seen the year before was sold to the Dailey Show and appearing this year between the two cat acts was Klauser's bears working on a stage.
Here we see Walter Klauser and daughter Herta (Goldilocks and the three bears).

Another great animal act that never got the Hipe. etc like cage acts and elephants. One of the most dangerous animals to work with. If not the most dangerous. Been There Done That. I was too young and ignorant to realize what I was doing at the time. I will never forget ZERO and will alway regret not getting pictures taken while presenting the Paramount Bears with JC.

Dutches I agree;
For me theres a few dominate VISUALY appealing Circus Images, one of which is a Bear on a Globe,
in a tutu, ruffled collar etc. I also ignorantly ( but with good intent )experenced first hand the dangers of BEARS.
What subconciously led me into there cunning lure was there beauty, gracefullness and amazing abilitys. " There relm ", especialy interacting with humans, is truely one of ENCHAMENT !
PS - The Teddy Bear - LOL !
Did Gunther ever work with BEARS ?
