"Who's got the bulls on this show?" #3

At the Ringling Park in Davenport, Fl. the elephants were marched across the highway to a truck stop and weighed on the scale every year. This would be in 1977 and at left wearing the headpiece is "Anna May".
The crew is Ted Svertesky, Chris Schacht, "Rammy Sammy" Haddock, Mike Aria, ...........?, "Cookie" Phillips, David Mannes, Igor Smith and Gary Jacobson.

Buckles. I did not realize how big you were until standing next to other men. The blue suit is a dead givaway.

Actually I'm standing up hill but to quote Gloria Swanson in "Sunset Boulevard", "I'm still big, the movies got smaller".

Buckles, was "Red" the missing name you were looking for? Can't remember his real name? I have an 8x10 of the weight-in at the truck stop with Peggy looking like shes pulling a lever with her trunk. You and Keith Trusdale the Ringmaster are in the photo also! Will try to e-mail you a few pic's when I can get my son to help me do it! Best, Gary

It might be Red but the party I'm referring to is hidden behind Mike Aria. Maybe it's Ben.
I've got some pictures of us in 1974 marching the elephants from the Venice Qtrs. to the cars, loading out (Lloyd Morgan was overseeing) and then the long hike from the cars to the Circus World site. You are in several of them.

Buckles I guess "Red's" real name was Chris. And was the other guy Ben or the notorious Billy Boothealear. Don't know if that's how he spelled his name??? Gary
