Judy Jacobs and I visited three times on the Jungleland lot. As to the major Terrell Jacobs query, she told me yes, her father carried 55 lions and tigers and at times worked as many as 52, in his 50-foot arena, on the '39 Ringling show. She inherited exclusive treasures from his career and invited me over to go through them with her. Alas, her bookings increased and Jungleland folded, and that visit, lost at the time, remains lamented to this day.

Yes, I have three heavy Jungleland albums full, and other Compound memorabilia in my trunks from my five years at the Old Place. For the present, I remain bereft of a scanner from which to share them, and a Shannon Woodcock to get me started.
